Madeira

Madeira is an island located in the North Atlantic Ocean, around 500 miles from the southwest of Portugal. There is a population of 259,440 people currently living in this autonomous region of Portugal. This island is the top of a submerged shield volcano, with its highest point named Pico Ruivo.
